The mission of the Callaway County United Way is to improve, consistently and measurably, the quality of life for all the people of Callaway County by raising and distributing funds, mobilizing community resources, and encouraging innovative solutions to the community's health and human service needs, while being aware of our environmental responsibilities.

Who We Are
The Callaway County 4-H is a youth development organization. Our mission is to engage youth as valued, contributing members of their communities in partnership with caring adults. Our vision is a world in which youth and adults learn, grow and work together for positive change. 4-H is for all youth in both rural and urban settings. 4-H is one of the largest youth organizations in the United States. 4-H youth programming results in competent, capable caring and contributing youth.
What We Do
Callaway County 4-H is a club-based organization. Youth between the ages of 5-18 select one of 8 clubs in Callaway County. Youth work with adult volunteers to select hands-on project from aerospace to beef, and crocheting to woodworking. Youth engage in at elast six hours of project work with a screened and trained adult volunteer. Our organization also provides leadership opportunities to youth as they serve as club officers, and attend camps and trips to better develop these skills. Callaway County 4-H serves more than 150 youth and 100 volunteers.
