Santa’s Helpers

The Callaway County United Way is offering letters from Santa Claus again this year for the young and the young at heart.

The letters are individualized and can include recent accomplishments, siblings, pets, and gifts that Santa will deliver on Christmas Eve.

Letters are $5 each, and all proceeds benefit the local United Way chapter.

“This is one of our newer adventures for the Callaway County United Way,” said Cathi Miller Harris, president of the Board of Directors. “Quite a few letters have already been ordered, and Santa's helpers are hard at work getting the big man to take time away from his normal holiday preparations to write letters.”

“This is an excellent way to keep the dreams of Santa Claus alive and in the hearts of everyone,” said Kathy Richey-Liddle, Executive Director of the Callaway County United Way. “We're really hoping to make this a big success not only to bring joy to children in our community but to also support the United Way and our 13 agencies.”

Letters can be ordered by visiting the Callaway County United Way website at www.callawayunitedway.com, or by calling the CCUW office at (573) 642-0536. Ask for Santa's Helpers. The deadline to order letters from Santa is December 19th.
