Davis Realty to pay it forward to Callaway United Way

Davis Realty will pay it forward as part of their 35th anniversary serving Callaway.

For every complete real estate transaction in 2010 the company will make a donation to the The Callaway County United Way.

"We thought it was time to say thank you to the community that has supported us all these years," said real estate broker, Joan Morris. "Our company has always supported the United Way, but for our 35th anniversary we wanted to up the ante a little bit."

Callaway County United Way President, Cathi Miller Harris is very excited about the generous donation.

"This is the first time we have had such a wonderful opportunity," Harris said. "We are really blown away by this donation."

"Even though we don't know the exact amount that will be donated it is nice to know that we will have this money coming in during the 2010 campaign."

Morris understands that it is a difficult time in Callaway County and Davis Realty wants to do their part to help.

"We have had a good year, despite the economic difficulties and want to help out those who are having a tough time of it," Morris said. "Hopefully some other businesses will do the same."
